Paramount+ will soon broadcast The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon in France
The streaming platform offers its first series from the TWD universe and becomes the fourth broadcaster of the franchise in France.
It was absolute nonsense: the first series Walking Dead taking place entirely in France was not visible in France. Launched at the end of summer on AMC, the spin-off dedicated to Daryl Dixon finally has an official broadcaster in France. It will not be OCS, as one could imagine, but it is Paramount+ which today announces the launch of Daryl Dixon in our country on November 10, with 2 episodes at launch then 1 per week.
Incidentally, Paramount Plus delivers the pitch: “While he hopes to find a way home, Daryl Dixon crosses a post-apocalyptic France in which he must face a horde of zombies of a new kind. As he advances, the The connections he makes along the way complicate his journey.”
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will bring together Norman Reedus with the Frenchwoman from Harry Potter, Clémence Poésy.
In the United States, this new series filmed in the four corners of France, from Marseille to Mont-Saint-Michel via Paris, and produced by Scott M. Gimple, was a very big audience hit, until its conclusion in early October. Season 1 – which only has six episodes – has already been renewed for a season 2.
Paramount Plus is the fourth broadcaster of the saga Walking Dead in France, after OCS (the original series and the spin-off Dead City), after Canal Plus (Fear the Walking Dead) and after Prime Video (World Beyond).
