For All Mankind: first teaser and first images of season 5

Martian atmosphere for the return of Apple’s great space and dystopian series.

It’s one of the very first original series on the Apple TV platform and it never ceases to delight us.

For All Mankind will return soon with its season 5. The return date is set for March 27, as revealed by the platform with this first Martian teaser.

This new season takes place in the years following the capture of the asteroid Goldilocks. Happy Valley is now a thriving Martian colony, home to thousands of residents and serving as a base for new missions to explore the solar system. But on Earth, as nations demand a legal framework on the red planet, tensions intensify between the inhabitants of Mars and their home planet.

Created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi, the series will return with this fifth season of 10 episodes, the first of which will be posted online on Friday March 27, then a new episode will be offered each week until May 29.

Cast-wise, Joel Kinnaman, Toby Kebbell, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña and Wrenn Schmidt are back. They will be joined by Mireille Enos (The Killing, Hanna), Costa Ronin (The Americans, Homeland), Sean Kaufman (The Summer I Became Pretty), Ruby Cruz (Bottoms) and Ines Asserson (Royalteen: The Heir).
