Blue Bloods, it’s not over! A spin-off series has just been ordered

A few weeks after the huge saga conclusion Blue Bloods In the United States, the CBS channel will try to blow on embers and has just ordered a new series as a “extension of the Blue Bloods universe” around Donnie Wahlberg.
Boston Bluethe new series, will follow Danny Reagan, the son of chef Francis Reagan (Tom Selleck), who leaves New York to take a position in the Boston police.
Always played by Wahlberg, therefore, he will come across Lena Peters, the eldest daughter of an eminent police family.
Brandon Sonnier And Brandon Margolis (The Blacklist) will be the executive showrunners and producers alongside Wahlberg, Jerry Bruckheimer and Kristiean Reed.
According to Deadline, this Boston Blue was not initially designed as a spin-off of Blue Bloods. Sonnier and Margolis had initially developed a classic series on a family of Boston police officers whose eldest daughter was associated with a newcomer to the Los Angeles police. Finally, the newcomer will be Danny, from New York police, transforming the drama into a spin-off of Blue Bloods.
Boston Blue should make his debut on CBS during the 2025-2026 season.
