The H gang reunites for Terminal: the first images of the new Canal + series
An office sitcom in an airport, with Ramzy Bedia in the lead and Jamel Debbouze behind the camera.
More than 20 years later Hthe cult sitcom with 79 legendary episodes, Canal Plus brings the team together again for a new crazy office comedy, this time in an airport. Terminal has just started filming, with Ramzy Bedia headlining as Commander Jack.
Bérangère McNeese, Brahim Bouhlel, Tristan Lopin, Camille Chamoux, Laureen “lapotegenante”, Doully, Samuel Bambi and Alexandra Roth complete the cast. Jamel Debbouze is not announced on camera, but will co-direct, write and produce.
This Original Creation will consist of 12 episodes of 26 minutes. It will tell the daily life – on land and in the air – of the funniest, most endearing and most incompetent crew in the entire history of French aviation. The official pitch reveals:
“Immediate boarding at Flywingz, welcome aboard one of the most… surprising airlines. In an increasingly competitive air market, the lowest of low-cost airlines must stand out in order not to crash. Jack, pilot captain his personal life as bad as his plane, and Charlie his co-pilot, relegated from a prestigious company to Flywingz, are forced to collaborate. To do this, they will be supported by an astonishing team of cabin crew: the naive Nelly, Nabil, the most unpredictable steward that the sky has known, Tristan the arriviste, and Armelle, militant in all battles. An inspection visit that turns into a fiasco, a child who takes the controls of the plane or a safety training which goes into a tailspin: our team of broken arms (almost) always united will try as best they can to manage these absurd situations. And too bad if the methods adopted do not always respect safety procedures. Have a good flight!”
Created by Azedine Bendjilali, Giulio Callegari, Andréas Georgiou, Xavier Lacaille, Paul Mirabel and Angela Soupe, Terminal is currently filming in Tigery in Essonne for a period of 6 weeks. As in the great era of H, the show is recorded in public. Spectators are seated on a rotating stand in the middle of the sets so as not to miss anything from the series. No release date announced.
