Who will be the hero of Voltron in live-action? An illustrious unknown in the casting of the film
Daniel Quinn-Toye is expected to lead the Mechas film which will be filmed very soon in Australia.
Amazon MGM Studios seems determined to make this film Voltron in live action. Last August, the studio landed the rights and according to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio has just signed its first name to the cast. It will be Daniel Quinn-Toye.
Who is that? An illustrious unknown, without any reference for the moment, except for having been Tom Holland’s understudy during the production of Romeo and Julietat the theater, last spring. A new face who will have to assume being the main role of the film.
The live-action film Voltron will be carried out by Rawson Marshall Thurberwho has already made Dodgeball in 2004, and the big success of Netflix, Red Notice in 2021.

Plot details of the film are not yet known, but the franchise Voltron is based on Toei Animation’s mecha anime series titled Beast King GoLion, which aired 52 episodes from 1981 to 1982.
The film’s screenplay is written by Ellen Shanman. Filming is expected to begin this fall in Australia.
