The madness of Star Wars fans to relaunch the film on Kylo Ren
And the bosses of Disney saw a plane pass in front of their windows with a banner…
No doubt he did not imagine causing such a shock wave among the fans of Star Wars…
Adam Driver’s revelation about Disney’s aborted Kylo Ren film led to a wave of insane frustration among fans of the Galaxy Far, Far Away, and a certain bitterness towards Disney executives Bob Iger and Alan Bergman, who stopped the project and rejected this film script titled The Hunt for Ben Soloby Steven Soderbergh.
So much so that, according to Collider, a group of fans financed a plane (!) to fly over the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank (California) with a banner bearing the message: “Save The Hunt for Ben Solo”. Understand: Relaunch the film dedicated to Ben Solo!

It is unclear whether this will be enough to convince Bob Iger to back down. But the fan devotion is pretty spectacular.
Driver told the Associated Press this week that he “always wanted to make another film Star Wars. Since 2021, I have been talking about it. Kathleen (Kennedy) contacted me. I always said, ‘With a great director and a great story, I’m in.’ I loved this character and loved playing him.”
Driver describes the scenario of The Hunt for Ben Solo like the standard of a real film Star Warswith an approach “handmade and character-centered”, comparable to The Empire Strikes Back. Lucasfilm, along with Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni and Cary Beck, supported the project until Disney blocked it. “And it was over,” remembers Driver.
