Adèle Exarchopoulos joins Park Chan-wook’s western with Austin Butler

After a first Hollywood experience in The Last Face by Sean Penn in 2016, Adèle Exarchopoulos is preparing to return to American cinema.
The French actress has just landed an important role in The Brigands of RattlecreekPark Chan-wook’s western which will be carried by a super glamorous cast: Austin Butler, Matthew McConaughey and Pedro Pascal.
The actress will play the wife of the character played by Austin Butler, in this film directed by the South Korean filmmaker Old Boy And No other choice. This is a role presented as particularly important according to Deadline.
The Brigands of Rattlecreek will follow a sheriff and a doctor embarked on a quest for revenge against a band of bandits who take advantage of a violent storm to attack and terrorize the inhabitants of a small town.
Park Chan-wook will direct the film from a screenplay by S. Craig Zahler, author of Bone Tomahawkon which the filmmaker himself carried out rewrites.
For Adèle Exarchopoulos, this announcement comes just a few days after that of her participation in the American film Die Aliveby Megan Park, alongside Zoë Kravitz.
