A new face joins the MCU and Avengers: Secret Wars

Noah Jupe joins the XXL cast of the next part.

The casting ofAvengers: Secret Wars continues to expand.

Noah Jupe, revealed notably in the saga Without a Sound (he plays Emily Blunt’s son) and recently seen in Hamnetin turn joins the Marvel universe in a role which remains completely secret for the moment, reports the American press.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by Kevin Feige, Avengers: Secret Wars will be the direct continuation ofAvengers: Doomsday. The latter will not be released until December 16, but Marvel is already preparing the sequel, filming of which should begin later this year, before a release scheduled for December 15, 2027.

At only 21 years old, Noah Jupe already has a solid career. After getting noticed as a child in the series The Night Manager And The Undoinghe established himself in the cinema with Honey Boy and especially the first two parts of Without a sound. He was recently featured in Hamnetthe Oscar-winning film by Chloé Zhao, alongside Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley, as well as her little brother Jacobi Jupe.

Her arrival could also create a new bond with another young MCU recruit: Sadie Sink, who made her MCU debut this summer in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The two actors already know each other since they shared the stage in London in an adaptation of Romeo and JulietSink playing Juliet opposite Jupe’s Romeo.

For the moment, however, it is impossible to know which character Noah Jupe will play in Secret Wars. Marvel carefully keeps the secret while the film promises to be even more gigantic than Doomsday. The latter will bring together heroes from several universes, with the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and several figures from Fox’s historical X-Men facing Victor Von Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr.

And the casting already announced gives an idea of ​​the scale of the project: Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and even Tom Hiddleston should notably find themselves in this gigantic reunion of superheroes. Tom Holland in the role of Spider-Man or Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange could also make their returns.
