Luchon Festival 2026: the complete list of winners for an electric edition
Carried by After the end of Frédéric Lopez, big winner on the fiction side, the Luchon Festival 2026 dedicates a vibrant edition where daring creations and committed documentaries impose themselves on the prize list.
Saturday evening, the Luchon Festival 2026 closed a particularly dense 27th edition, once again confirming its status as an essential event for French audiovisual creation.
Born in the heart of the Pyrenees, the festival remains one of the rare events exclusively dedicated to television works – fiction, series, singles and documentaries – a field where screenwriters, directors, producers and broadcasters come each year to test their creations in front of the public and take the pulse of a rapidly changing industry.
With its programming spread over three days, Luchon plays the card of efficiency: continuous screenings, indoor debates, professional meetings, and as always, a local enthusiasm which gives the festival this special atmosphere, between mountain conviviality and image laboratory.
For this 2026 edition, the Fiction and Documentary juries have decided. The vintage is rich, and the Fiction jury chaired by Valérie Bonneton chose to reward fiction by Frédéric Lopez After the end. On the documentary side, two jury prizes reward Incest, the fight of a lifetime And The violin lessonwhile the Documentary Grand Prize goes to the Faces of war by Didier Cros, who follows a team of surgeons specializing in facial reconstruction working with a Ukrainian hospital in Lviv to repair flesh damaged by bullets and shrapnel from the Russian army.
