Disney+ will now broadcast programs from M6

Several emblematic programs from the channel will now be offered on the streaming platform, such as Household Scenes and Married at First Sight.

For several weeks, we have been able to watch Koh-Lanta on Netflix. And soon, we will be able to watch Married at First Sight on Disney+.

The Walt Disney Company France and the M6 Group announce a new broadcast agreement which will allow Disney+ to host several popular M6 programs.

The objective is twofold: for Disney+, to enrich its catalog with very popular French programs, while M6 hopes to reach new audiences, notably 15-34 year olds, who are particularly present on the platform.

Four emblematic programs will join Disney+ from September 25: Household Scenes and Family. Two other programs will follow at the beginning of 2027: Married at First Sight and The Power: Who Has the Power?.

The two groups present this collaboration as a new way of responding to the evolution of spectator consumption habits.

“By combining an innovative distribution model, the two groups are experimenting with new approaches to respond to changing uses and maximize the exposure of French content,” explains Disney in a press release.

David Larramendy, Chairman of the Management Board of the M6 Group, is delighted with this new step: “We are very pleased to extend our historic relationship with Disney through this innovative collaboration. It will allow some of our most iconic brands to reach new audiences and benefit from additional exposure to Disney+ subscribers.”
