Season 3 of Euphoria will be released in April 2026: the first details revealed
Where will Rue (Zendaya) be when the story resumes, five years later? Sam Levinson gives the answer…
Four years after the broadcast of season 2, here comes Euphoria again.
HBO announces that season 3 will arrive in April 2026, on HBO Max in France.
During a presentation in London, Sam Levinson lifted the veil on several key elements of this new season and where the characters will be, while the story will pick up 5 years later, leaving behind the events of the previous season. Spoiler alert!
Street on the Mexican border
Levinson explains: “Five years seemed natural to us: if they had gone to college, they would have come out.”
We will therefore find Zendaya aka Rue… in Mexico, under the control of Laurie (Martha Kelly), and looking for “innovative” (read: dangerous) methods to repay her debt. Already tense.
Cassie and Nate: engaged… and toxic as ever
For Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi), the situation has taken an unexpected turn: They now live in the suburbs, they are engaged, and Cassie is totally addicted to social networks, jealous of the lives of her former high school friends. Levinson doesn’t stop there:
“I can say that Cassie and Nate are getting married (in season 3). I confirm it. And I promise it will be a night to remember.”
Jules, Maddy, Lexi
The creator of the series also gave news of the rest of the hard core:
-
Jules (Hunter Schafer) is now in art school, terrified of a real career as a painter and dodging responsibilities with near-Olympic precision.
-
Maddy (Alexa Demie) works in Hollywood, in a talent agency, with a few “scams” who resemble her.
-
Lexi (Maude Apatow) works as an assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone.
Otherwise, Eric Dane, Colman Domingo, as well as Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, Nika King will return to the cast.
And season 3 welcomes a list of particularly unexpected new faces: Sharon Stone, of course, but also Rosalía, Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth and Marshawn Lynch.
