Ryan Murphy unveils The Beauty, his crazy new creation for Disney +

Ryan Murphy loves filming glamour, beauty and their shadows. He pushes the concept even further with his new series, The Beauty.

Questioning the obsession with perfection, the series follows Evan Peters and Rebecca Hall, two FBI agents tasked with investigating a wave of mysterious deaths among supermodels. As they dig, they discover a sexually transmitted virus capable of transforming anyone into the perfect embodiment of beauty…but at a terrifying cost. Their investigation leads them to a tech billionaire known as “The Corporation” (played by Ashton Kutcher) and his relentless enforcer, “The Assassin” (Anthony Ramos)…

Ryan Murphy co-created the series with Matthew Hodgson, based on a comic book, and executive produced it.

The synopsis details: “The fashion world experiences dark times as international models die in horrific circumstances. FBI agents Cooper Madsen (Evan Peters) and Jordan Bennett (Rebecca Hall) are sent to Paris to solve these mysterious deaths. As their investigation continues, they discover that a sexually transmitted virus is transforming ordinary people into physically perfect versions of themselves, but with terrible consequences. Their investigations will lead them to “The Corporation” (Ashton Kutcher), a quiet tech billionaire who has secretly developed a miracle drug called THE BEAUTY and is willing to do anything to protect his multi-billion dollar empire, including enlisting the help of his murderous henchman “The Assassin” (Anthony Ramos) As the epidemic spreads, “Jeremy” (Jeremy Pope), a desperate outsider caught in the chaos, searches for purpose as agents scour Paris, Venice, Rome and New York. to end a threat that could change the future of humanity.”

The Beauty will be available on Disney+ in France from January 22. The series will be launched with 3 episodes then a new episode every week. The last four episodes of the season will be broadcast at a rate of two episodes each week.
