The star gave us an exclusive interview during the last Venice Film Festival, where he presented this exciting thriller about the excesses of trash TV inspired by the show “To Catch a Predator”. For director Lance Oppenheim, Pattinson puts himself in the shoes of presenter Chris Hansen who trapped child criminals on American television in the 2000s.

The opportunity, also, to look back with Robert Pattinson on his incredible year 2026, and the way he chose all his roles:

“You have to think about it carefully in advance because, as an actor, you don’t want to take the risk of boring the public with films or roles that are too similar. If you always stay in the same key, you can quickly become boring. That’s true in general, and even more so when you’re in four films in the same year!“

“When I chose to do The Drama, for example, I already knew that I would be in The Odyssey, and it seemed like a good choice because it was something lighter. Primetime – for which I signed on the same day as The Drama – is something else again, a real shift, towards a more unexpected direction. And Dune 3 too should be very different.”

Awarded in Cannes and Annecy, The Corset arrives in cinemas (October 14), and the public will finally be able to discover this animated marvel. First had to open its pages to Louis Clichy, author of this film as magnificent as it is ambitious which transcends genres and HIS genre:

“When I went before the CNC commission, the advance on receipts, the first question I was asked was: ‘Why don’t you do this film live?‘I was stupid enough to answer: ‘Because I don’t know how to do anything else.‘”

In EvilJessica Chastain seems to embody a role that she has played many times in the cinema, that of the mother. Except there is a twist. The actress of Zero Dark Thirty And The Tree of Life plays a dual role. That of the perfect mother, and that of the evil double who borrows her face to terrorize her home:

“When I was a kid, I wanted to be Ellen Ripley in Alien. He was my model. It was difficult to find strong female characters in cinema. Oddly, horror films were full of them. I watched films where women triumphed over the monster. They were the ones who survived in the end. And Ripley was always favorite.”

For the big interview of the month, we had the chance to speak at length with Abel Ferrara. At 75, the New York filmmaker from King of New York, Bad Lieutenant Or The Addictionpunk before the eternal, publishes his Memoirs which he will present at the Lyon Light Festival. Everything goes through it: the damaged childhood, the films made in a hurry, the drugs, the alcohol, the erratic family life… The man, who now fuels organic green tea and meditation in his Roman apartment, takes stock of his relationship with cinema.

“If Elisabetta, my Italian publisher, had not made me this offer and above all given me an advance, I would never have sat down in front of a fucking blank page. A page at a pinch why not, but it’s the hundreds of others behind it that are hard to write (…) Yes, my life has been chaotic but the films that I have made have been markers, compasses in this thick fog. They are the ones who helped me stay on track. It took me more than two years to get all this out… (He gets annoyed.) I warn you: don’t try to make me repeat what’s in my book…“
