Zendaya returns to science fiction with Alex Garland at A24

After Dune and Spider-Man, the actress will star in 2027 in a science fiction film written and directed by the filmmaker of Ex Machina and Civil War.

After finishing the saga DuneZendaya continues to explore the worlds of sci-fi.

The actress has just joined the next sci-fi film from Alex Garland, writer and director of Ex Machina And Civil War.

Still untitled, the feature film will be produced by A24 and should begin filming in 2027. Details of the plot are currently being kept secret. We still don’t know what it will be about.

This project marks a new reunion between Zendaya and A24, with whom she has already collaborated on the series Euphoriacompleted this year after three seasons, and on the black comedy The Dramain which she co-stars with Robert Pattinson.

For his part, Alex Garland continues a long-term collaboration with the independent studio, which has supported several of his films, from Ex Machina has Menpassing through Civil War And Warfare. A24 will also produce its next major project, the adaptation of the video game Elden Ringworn notably by Kit Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Ben Whishaw, Nick Offerman and Tom Burke. Filming ended on July 30, with a release scheduled for March 2028.

We will find Zendaya in Dune: Part Three next December 16 at the cinema in France.
