Filming for The Maid 2 has started
Production has just started on the streets of New York. And we already have the first photos.

The filming of Secrets of the housekeeper (The Housemaid’s Secret), continuation of The Housekeeperhas officially debuted in New York and New Jersey, United States.
Sydney Sweeney returns to her role as a housekeeper and this year she will meet Kirsten Dunst, as revealed in this first official video, with the entire cast saying hello.
The first images from the shoot were taken on October 14 and 15 in New York and Hoboken and Jersey City.
On set, the actress also took the time to meet young fans, as shown in this short video filmed on site.
The photos also show Millie in the arms of Enzo (Michele Morrone) the gardener from the first film who will be back and with whom she will begin a romantic relationship.
Behind the camera, Paul Feig returns for this sequel adapted from the literary universe of Freida McFadden, who also serves as executive producer alongside Sweeney.
This time, Millie takes a new job as a housekeeper for a woman she never meets in person. But behind a locked door lie secrets far darker than his own past.
Paul Anthony Kelly will play Douglas Garrick, while Stephen Kalyn and Brittany Snow round out the cast.
Released in 2025, The Housekeeper met with immense commercial success, with more than $400 million in worldwide revenue for an estimated budget of $35 million. Lionsgate launched development of this sequel less than a month after the release of the first part.
Secrets of the housekeeper will be released in theaters in France on December 15, 2027.
