A date and trailer for season 4 of The Gilded Age
New York high society has not finished tearing itself apart: HBO Max lifts the veil on the continuation of its successful historical series.
Created by Julian Fellowes, the creator of Downton Abbeythe HBO drama series The Gilded Age will return for a fourth season consisting of eight episodes this fall.
Once again, rivalries, ambitions and secrets will agitate the great families of New York high society.
The synopsis states: “Bertha Russell disrupted the established order of high society. But her meteoric rise is not without consequences for her family, while Agnes van Rhijn is determined to take back her rightful place. While Marian forges her own destiny and Peggy seeks to be accepted by her future in-laws, everyone will learn that in this new era, you sometimes have to be wary of what you wish for…“
The cast includes Carrie Coon, Christine Baranski, Cynthia Nixon, Morgan Spector, Louisa Jacobson, Denée Benton, Taissa Farmiga, Harry Richardson, Blake Ritson, Ben Ahlers, Ashlie Atkinson, Dylan Baker, Kelley Curran, Jordan Donica, Jessica Frances Dukes, Amy Forsyth, Audra McDonald, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Debra Monk, Donna Murphy, Kelli O’Hara, Douglas Sills, Dennis Haysbert, Jim Gaffigan, Dallas Roberts, Andrew Burnap, Elizabeth Marvel, Adrienne Warren, as well as Bill Camp and Phylicia Rashad.
Julian Fellowes is once again at the helm as creator, writer and executive producer.
Season 4 of The Gilded Age will be available from Monday November 2 on HBO Max in France.
