Charlie Sheen reconciles with My Uncle Charlie’s dad: trailer
He will play a small role in Bookie, the new comedy for HBO Max from Chuck Lorre.
You have to see it to believe it ! Charlie Sheen will indeed star in the new comedy of Chuck Lorrethe creator of My uncle Charlie And The Big Bang Theory.
A reconciliation that no one saw coming, as the screenwriter and his star had vomited on each other through the media for a decade, leading to the infamous dismissal of Charlie Sheen of Two and a Half Men.
But there you have it, time heals ills. Especially in Hollywood. So 13 years later, here it is Bookie, Lorre’s latest comedy for Warner Bros. and its HBO Max platform, in which the former Uncle Charlie will play a secondary role. Because the star will now be the stand-up comedian, Sebastian Maniscalcowho will play a small-time bookmaker from Los Angeles, whose client… Charlie Sheen !
In the trailer, released Wednesday, we see Danny (Maniscalco), who has come to collect his debts. Sheen, playing himself, is a little short on cash and offers Danny special compensation.
“It was truly healing. It felt really good to be together again“, assures Chuck Lorre at TVLIne. “It was like we closed the book on our horrible times and we had a great time.”
Bookie will be launched on November 30 on HBO Max in the USA and France via the Warner pass on Prime Video.
