A new superhero series is coming to Netflix (trailer)

In Supracell, a group of Londoners with extraordinary powers must save a woman before it is too late.

Despite the superhero tired which hits cinema and the MCU, on the small screen, series featuring characters with great powers are overflowing into the catalogs of streaming platforms. On Netflix, the little news is called Supracell and it was created by Rapman, a British rapper already at the helm of Blue Story, released on VOD in 2020.

“Protect those you love.” The story of Supracell is that of a man, Michael Lasaki (played by Tosin Cole that we could see in Doctor Who: Revolution And Bob Marley: One Love), who, to save the woman he loves from near and certain death, decides to bring together a team of ordinary Londoners who discover extraordinary powers…

They have speed, strength, and the ability to move objects with thought. The trailer suggests that the characters will have to make choices. How to use your powers? If we say that the hero would sacrifice those who love him to save the world, the villain would sacrifice the world to save what he loves.

Mixing science fiction, social and violence series, Supracell with Nadine Mills And Eric Kofi-Abrefa (already present in Blue Story), will be released on Netflix on June 27.
