All the series that will be the event during season 9 of CanneSéries

The program for this 2026 edition has just been revealed. And it’s heavy…

La Croisette returns to series mode. For its 9th season, CanneSéries 2026 sees things big and confirms its international ambition.

In total, the festival features 26 world premieres, 11 international premieres, 2 French premieres and 3 previews. A dense selection, built from more than 300 series submitted, from 41 countries. In the end, 17 territories are represented. “CanneSéries proves once again that it is the festival for ambitious series from around the world,” specifies the organization.

Among the titles expected Out of competition:

Half Man, created by and starring Richard Gadd alongside Jamie Bell, will be revealed before its arrival on HBO Max. Paris Police 1910 by Fabien Nury, expected at the end of April on Canal+, will also be there. Other highlights: Prisoner, British prison series by Matt Charman with Tahar Rahim; Star City, spin-off of For All Mankind led by Rhys Ifans for Apple TV+; The Terror: Devil in Silver, third season of the anthology with Judith Light and Dan Stevens; and California Avenue, new series by Hugo Blick with Bill Nighy and Helena Bonham Carter for the BBC.

We will also have an eye on Surveillant! (Disney+), The Oligarch and the Art Dealer (Arte), Brigade Anonyme (M6), Le Rouge et le Noir (France Télévisions) and the return of Zodiac (TF1).

As for guests, the Croisette also promises its share of prestigious faces. Pilou Asbæk, Simon Astier, Victor Belmondo, Jemaine Clement, Richard Gadd, Noah Hawley, Rhys Ifans, Xavier Lacaille, Audrey Lamy, Virginie Ledoyen, Hagai Levi, Judith Light, Florent Manaudou, Bill Nighy, Michel Platini, Adam Scott and Jean-Pascal Zadi are notably expected.

The competition will give pride of place to the international scene with eight series from varied backgrounds:

Alice and Steve (UK), Guts (Finland/Slovenia), Harvest (Denmark), I Always Sometimes (Spain), Many People Need to Die (Spain), Snake Killer (Denmark), Summer of 1985 (Sweden) and The Red and the Black (Iran).

Season 9 of CanneSéries will take place from April 23 to 28, 2026 in Cannes.
