Annecy Festival 2024: find the work of Gobelins students
Trained in animation professions, students and future filmmakers produce short films specially designed for the event.
For almost 50 years, animation cinema students from the school of Goblins in Paris are joining forces with the Annecy International Animated Film Festival. As a team, they produce animated films of between 30 and 60 seconds intended to open each screening session. The ideal opportunity to show their talents to the general public.
This year, ten short films were made by the promotion of the Bachelor Animator and Director of Animated Films. On the program: exploration of Portugal – a country to which the festival pays homage in this 2024 edition.
We group them below, along organized screenings as part of this 2024 edition.
Day 1 : Lencos Dos Namoradosby Pauline GAUSCHI, Alexandra RAJEVA, Stasa RAKOCEVIC and Ines RIVERA CRUZ.

On the hilly lands of Portugal a fire breaks out. Shortly after the blaze comes the ashes, and following the ashes, the forest begins its rebirth.
Day 3: Saudade, by Jeanne CASSIER, Maxence CUQ, Corentin HERUBEL, Adeline PERRIGAULT, Clément ROUSSIN and Manon TSUKUI.
In the heart of the Douro Valley, the Sun still illuminates the last gestures of the grape harvesters. The abundant nature sees playful children wandering, the landscapes transform over the hours but already, a light wind suggests the end of the holidays…

In a cork oak farm, deep in the village of Aldeia Velha, the warm Portuguese sun radiates the white walls of a family house. Life is sweet there for these members who cherish these moments spent together. On this particular day, the youngest daughter plants a cork oak shoot in their garden. She places in the ground the symbolic objects inherited from each of her loved ones.

The ocean has many faces: it offers food and work, is sometimes a playmate, sometimes an assassin. In the fishing village of Nazaré, at the end of the 1950s, the ocean assumes these different forms in front of each member of a modest family.
