The English director has planned a biopic on the Australian-American media magnate.

After having resurrected the horrific saga with 28 years laterthis summer in the cinema, Danny Boyle is already preparing his next film.

And no zombies this time. The British filmmaker will realize Inka project focused on the youth of the Rupert Murdoch media tycoon, the boss of Fox News and number of newspapers, which had already largely inspired the series Succession.

The film, produced by Studiocanal, must enter filming in October. The script is signed by James Graham, according to his own play.

On the casting side, Guy Pearce – recently appointed to the Oscars for The brutalist – is in discussions to embody Murdoch. Jack O’Connell, seen in 28 years lateris expected to play Larry Lamb, the man recruited by Murdoch to direct The Sun During the acquisition of the English tabloid in 1969.

According to Deadline,, Ink will present themselves as “A explosive cinematographic rollercoaster on a group of visionaries and marginalized people who invent a new way of doing information – giving the public what he wants, overwhelming the media landscape forever”.

The story will return to the transformation of Sun in popular tabloid and on its emerging rivalry with The Mirrorwhich was going to redefine the British press.

But Ink Do not mark the end of the horrific saga of Danny Boyle. In parallel, the filmmaker remains involved in the current trilogy. After the first opus he has just made, he produced The Bone Temple Directed by Nia Dacosta, and plans to direct the third and last film himself … if the funding materializes.
