Blue & Company: Ryan Reynolds to the rescue of imaginary friends (trailer)
Is John Krasinski’s new film as far from Quiet as it seems?
In VO, Blue & Company is called IF, for “Imaginary Friend”. maybe John Krasinski also makes a reference to Kipling’s poem – which also gave birth to the cult film by Lindsay Anderson with Malcolm McDowell, but we digress. Maybe not so much: “If you can dream – and not make dreams your master” writes Kipling. With the help of a man (Ryan Reynolds -we bet it’s Bea’s IF?), she will decide to save them.
So, after the enormous success of Without a sound and its sequel, Krasinski moves away from the post-apo but remains firmly attached to the family cocoon as a refuge. Blue & Company comes out on May 15 in France. A month later, in June, A Quiet Place: Day Onethe prequel to Without a sound starring Lupita Nyong’o, will be released in theaters…
