Dwayne Johnson announces the end of filming on Jumanji 3… for Danny DeVito

The new opus of the saga is due to be released in theaters at the end of the year.

The jungle is slowly closing in.

Dwayne Johnson gives news from the filming of Jumanji 3 which is nearing its conclusion. It’s even over for Danny DeVito who has officially finished his scenes in the film. The actor shared the news on X with a message as affectionate as it was teasing.

“Official end clap in Jumanji for the one and only Danny DeVito. Working with and learning from you has been an honor – and calling you my friend will always be a privilege. Thank you, brother, for your strong heart and joy throughout our Jumanji franchise.”

Before concluding with humor:

“Let’s keep telling stories together…and please keep smiling and exfoliating the top of your head.”

The post shows several photos from the set where DeVito posed notably with Kevin Hart. In the saga, he plays Eddie Gilpin, an eccentric and endearing character who appeared in Jumanji: Next Level (in 2019).

The production of Jumanji 3 started last November.

The cast features regulars Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, as well as returning Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser’Darius Blaine, Morgan Turner and Awkwafina.

Jumanji 3 is due out on December 9 in France.
