Fewer stars in season 4 of White Lotus: the new vacationers made official

Helena Bonham Carter will headline the new chapter in France.

There was Alexandra Daddario, Sydney Sweeney, F. Murray Abraham, Theo James, Aubrey Plaza, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins and Jason Isaacs. But season 4 of The White Lotus will rely less on a star cast.

HBO has formalized the new casting for the new chapter which will take place in a luxury hotel in France. And the headliner will clearly be Helena Bonham Carter, British icon of Tim Burton and Harry Potter. At his side, we will find Chris Messina, known for his roles in Sharp Objects and Argo. There will also be British actor Steve Coogan (starring in Night at the Museum and Philomena). Canadian Alexander Ludwig from Vikings and The Hunger Games will also be traveling to France, as will AJ Michalka (seen in the series The Goldbergs). Unknown to the general public, Caleb Jonte Edwards will also be in the main cast. Finally, like this casting without flashiness, season 4 will see the first steps on screen of Marissa Long, who will make her television debut.

As always with the HBO series, precise details about the characters and plot remain under wraps.

We only know that season 4 of White Lotus will take place in France, between Paris and Saint-Tropez.

Mike White, creator of the series, is writing, directing and executive producing.

Filming will begin next spring. Release expected in 2027 on HBO and in France on HBO Max.
