First teaser for Juste une illusion, with Louis Garrel, Camille Cottin and Pierre Lottin

The new film by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache is revealed.

Three years later A difficult yearthe Toledano-Nakache duo is back with Just an illusion a new social and nostalgic comedy, which immerses us in the middle class of the 1980s through the story of a young teenager in search of identity. But it is the adults who are at the heart of the first tease, which has just been posted online.

In this preview, punctuated by the music of Telephone, we even witness a menage a trois between the couple Louis Garrel-Camille Cottin and their neighbor, Pierre Lottin. The latter comes to help with computing (we are in the era of the first computers), but he likes Madame a little too much for Monsieur’s taste…

To learn more about the plot of Just an illusionyou have to look at the synopsis of the film. These are the young Simon Boublil and Alexis Rosenstiehl who will play the two children of Cottin and Garrel:

It is 1985, Vincent, almost 13 years old, lives in the Paris suburbs in a middle-class family, between a distant older brother and parents in permanent conflict.

While he is “already no longer” a child and he is “not yet” an adult, we will share his questions and doubts about identity, friendship, family, religion, desire and the first impulses of love.

A comedy about this period of childhood when the hope of changing the world was not “Just an illusion…”

Just an illusion will be released in cinemas on April 15.
