It’s the end for For All Mankind: the big Apple series in space will end after season 6

It is one of the oldest series on the Apple TV platform which will bow out.

While season 5 will be available this Friday, March 27 on Apple TV, the streaming platform has just ordered the sixth season of For All Mankind, which will mark the very last mission of the series created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi.

We are very proud of what this series has become and are grateful to Apple TV and Sony Pictures Television for helping us bring it to its final chapter.”

Since its launch in 2019, For All Mankind has garnered recognition at the Emmy Awards and the Producers Guild of America Awards, and received multiple Critics Choice Award nominations. Filming for the sixth and final season is about to begin.

The first episode of season 5 comes out this Friday, March 27, followed by a new episode every Friday until May 29. This fifth season picks up in the years following the capture of the asteroid Goldilocks. Happy Valley has become a thriving community, with thousands of residents and a base for new missions to explore the solar system. But while on Earth, nations are demanding the rule of law on the red planet, tensions are increasing between those who live on Mars and their former homeland…
