Jean Dujardin at Xavier Giannoli: Rays and Shadows reveals his first image

The new feature film from the director of Lost Illusions will be released in theaters in March.

Xavier Giannoli is back in the cinema after the series Silver and bloodpresented as a world premiere at the 2023 Venice Film Festival. The filmmaker won the César for best film in 2022 for Lost illusions and the Palme d’Or for best short film in 1998 for The Interviewreturns with a new feature film which this time deals with the Second World War. A subject never before addressed by the director but which is part of his outdated fresco after Daisywhich featured the 1920s, and Lost illusions which illustrated 19th century Paris.

We will find in the cast Jean Dujardin, Nastya Golubeva (Twentynine Palms) and August Diehl (The Master and Marguerite).

This is the first collaboration between star actor Jean Dujardin and Xavier Giannoli.

Rays and shadows will be released on March 18 in French theaters. The trailer has not yet been revealed.

Synopsis: During the Second World War, the true story of Jean and Corinne Luchaire, a father and his daughter caught in the spiral of collaboration.
