Kristen Stewart, heroine of Love Lies Bleeding for A24 (trailer)
Hideo Kojima did not fail to react favorably to this project, by proposing an idea for a spin-off!
In this seventies project, Lou (Katy O’Brian) and Jackie (Kristen Stewart) will have to free themselves from the toxic influence of the events occurring in Las Vegas. Lou, an ambitious bodybuilder, joins the traffic organized by Jackie’s father, played by a Ed Harris into an unrecognizable crack head.
It was on social networks that the production company A24 made the public languish with a poster that was attractive to say the least, then the trailer above, with perfectly well-paced editing.
The design respects the codes of the 70s: the neon font, this oiled and drawn bicep, echoing (indirectly) a period dotted with success for a great figure in body building and action cinema, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The road trip promises to mix physical ability and firearms.

The poster sparked a wave of reactions on X, highlighting the feminist aspects of this independent proposal, which weaves a link with a period halfway between aerobics and video games: Terminator, Lara Croft or Street Fighter. The project caused a reaction Hideo Kojimavideo game creator, notably of the series Metal Gear or Death Stranding. The latter completely endorses the vision of the film, projected by the director Rose Glass (Saint Maud) – he even discusses an idea for a spin-off:
Love Lies Bleeding, the latest film from super promising director Rose Glass (Saint Maud) and produced by A24, is too good to be true! Kristen Stewart is awesome, but our very own Ed Harris is a heartthrob! Too cool! Already looks like there could be a spin-off! pic.twitter.com/WMUoX3E8ry
