Lio will be the president of the Deauville 2026 Revelation Jury

She will be supported by Noée Abita, Marion Barbeau, Manon Clavel and Sayyid El Alami.

After unveiling its main jury, led this year by Roschdy Zem, the Deauville American Cinema Festival has just announced its Revelation Jury which will be chaired by Lio. Singer and feminist icon, this unique personality also distinguished herself in the cinema in the 1980s with her roles in Chantal Akerman, Claude Lelouch and Diane Kurys. Favoring female directors, she also performed for Catherine Breillat, Katell Quillévéré and Yolande Moreau.

She will be responsible for presenting the Revelation Prize, which rewarded last year The Chronology of Water by Kristen Stewart, during the closing ceremony. She will be supported in her mission by Noée Abita (Ava), Marion Barbeau (In body), Manon Clavel (Kika) and Sayyid El Alami (The Pampas).

The 52nd edition of the Deauville Festival will be held from September 4 to 13.
