Kevin Feige confirms the arrival of the other weaver in his big franchise… but after the end of the end of the animated Spider-Verse saga.

Fans have been waiting for years: Miles Morales will eventually join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But we will still have to wait.

Traveling to Shanghai, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige confirmed that the other famous incarnation of Spider-Man is indeed in the franchise’s plans. Yes, he will one day appear in live action… once Sony’s animated trilogy is complete.

“The good news is that Sony is continuing the saga Spider-Versewhich is excellent and very popular, and which Beyond the Spider-Verse will be released next year. We clearly have plans for Miles. I think a live-action Spider-Man film is intended to one day include Miles. But after this animated saga ends.“

In other words, Miles Morales should not appear before the release of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verseexpected in cinemas in France on June 23, 2027.

Miles Morales made his film debut in 2018 in Spider-Man: New Generationbefore returning to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. He will once again be dubbed by Shameik Moore in Beyond the Spider-Versewhich will conclude this animated trilogy. For now, the saga of Spider-Verse is not expected to continue beyond that, which suggests that the character would be available from Spider-Man 5 following Brand New Day.

Kevin Feige also reveals that he is already planning the sequel with producer Amy Pascal: “We’ve already discussed in depth the next two, three, four, maybe five Spider-Man films.”

Kevin Feige finally recalls that Marvel had already slipped a nod to the character in Spider-Man: No Way Home. In the film, Electro, played by Jamie Foxx, says to Peter Parker: “There must be a black Spider-Man somewhere.”

“Spectators around the world immediately understood that this could be a clue about Miles Morales…“, explains the president of Marvel Studios today.

In the meantime, it is Tom Holland who will find the costume of Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Dayexpected in French theaters on July 29, 2027.
