A new black comedy, at the heart of a funeral home also starring Artus, Louise Coldefy and Julia Piaton.

The pope of French black comedy returns with his ninth film, Mom must be burnedwhich will take place in the heart of a funeral home.
The director promises a new tragicomic farce spiked with sharp humor, with a family of undertakers faced with a delicate situation to say the least: the employees are on strike and you will have to take care of Mom’s funeral yourself.
The official synopsis sets the tone: “In a family of undertakers, two sisters and a brother meet for their mother’s funeral. The staff being on strike, they must complete the funeral protocol by themselves. How can they agree to burn Mom?”
Albert Dupontel once again takes the role of the big brother, manager of the funeral home. Artus will be his zany employee, while Louise Coldefy and Julia Piaton will play his two sisters. Grégory Ludig will also make an appearance.
After Goodbye idiots And Second RoundDupontel therefore continues in this vein of black comedy where the absurd and the macabre go hand in hand.
Mom must be burned will be released in cinemas on November 11.
