Awarded at the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival, Khalil Cherti’s first feature film tells the story of a couple confronted with infertility and the challenges of PMA.
They love each other, they want a child. But the path to get there will put their relationship to the test.
With Which leads us to youdirector Khalil Cherti tells the intimate odyssey of a couple faced with the impossibility of having a child. Carried by Nina Meurisse and Sofian Khammes, this drama follows Charlie and Hicham, two thirty-somethings who love each other madly but see their desire to become parents put their story to the test.
“Charlie and Hicham, in their thirties, love each other madly but are unable to have children: their couple is faced with infertility. They then begin a course of Medically Assisted Reproduction. For three years, between hopes and disappointments, they will put their love and their bodies to the test, experiencing an odyssey that will shake them up…“, details the synopsis.
The film was distinguished at the 2026 Angoulême Francophone Film Festival, where it won the Valois for screenplay and students.
Aïssou, Jeanne Balibar, Younès Boucif and Maria de Medeiros complete the cast of this first feature film by Khalil Cherti.
Which leads us to you will be released in cinemas on November 11.
