Pedro Pascal becomes cellist for Tony Gilroy in the trailer for Behemoth!

After The Last of Us and The Mandalorian, the star completely changes register to carry this musical drama by Tony Gilroy.

They narrowly missed each other in Star Wars.

While Pedro Pascal lent his features (and his voice) to the hero of The MandalorianTony Gilroy was filming Andor. Finally, their first collaboration will be far from lightsabers with Behemoth!for which Searchlight Pictures has just revealed the first trailer.

Pedro Pascal plays Alex Serian, a very talented cellist who returns to Los Angeles after twenty years on the road. Music, which has punctuated his entire existence, takes him on a journey as intimate as it is overwhelming, destined to transform his life.

With Behemoth!Tony Gilroy returns to the big screen almost 15 years later Jason Bourne: Legacy. The director of Michael Clayton abandons thriller and espionage to explore the power of music and family ties in an intimate drama carried by one of the biggest stars of the moment.

Around Pedro Pascal, the cast also brings together Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor, Alexa Swinton, Kaya Ralls, Erik Griffin, JoBeth Williams, Margarita Levieva, Hank Azaria and Will Arnett.

In addition to directing and writing, Tony Gilroy is producing the feature film.

Behemoth! will be released in theaters on December 4, 2026 in the United States. No French date yet.
