Quentin Tarantino is reportedly preparing a gangster series with Sylvester Stallone!
It would be a slick black and white production set in the 1930s.
After his play in London, will Quentin Tarantino want to move to the small screen?
The director could be working on a TV series… with Sylvester Stallone!
A surprise project, surprising to say the least, and relayed by the American press in recent days. TMZ announces that the two sacred monsters of Hollywood are developing this retro story together, filmed in black and white…
According to information from the famous celebrity site, it would be a six-episode gangster series that they would co-direct.
“The series is set in the 1930s, and it will be ultra authentic. It will be shot in black and white, with cameras from the 1930s. It’s a 6-part series with gangsters, cabaret dancers, boxing and music.”

Still according to these revelations, Sylvester Stallone should stay behind the camera this time and not appear on screen.
For now, there is absolutely nothing official about it, and we’re going to wait a bit before getting excited. For the moment, no broadcaster or possible date have been announced.
But the prospect of a collaboration between Sly and QT inevitably makes one salivate. Especially since this is not the first time that the two legends have spoken about crossing paths. Stallone was notably considered for a role in Jackie Brown, ultimately given to Robert De Niro. And Tarantino had also thought of him for Boulevard of Death, before choosing Kurt Russell.
Suffice to say that this late collaboration has the air of a missed opportunity… finally repaired.
