The cast of season 4 of The White Lotus gets even stronger

With notably Ben Kingsley in an unknown role.

It never ends. Season 4 of The White Lotus has just added new actors at the last minute, who join an already well-stocked cast: Ben Kingsley, Max Minghella (The Handmaid’s Tale, Industry…) and the Finn Pekka Strang (Mister 8, Dogs Don’t Wear Pants) will therefore be on the Croisette soon. For this new season, The White Lotus abandons its usual exotic settings to settle down on the Côte d’Azur, in the midst of the excitement of the Cannes Film Festival. The plot will follow, as usual, a group of wealthy clients and employees of a luxury hotel over the course of a week.

According to initial reports, the story will revolve around two rival film teams competing at the festival. One stays in a spectacular palace located on the Croisette, while the other settles in a more discreet luxury hotel, perched on the heights. In addition to the newcomers, season 4 will include Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Laura Dern, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Dylan Ennis, Corentin Fila, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina, AJ Michalka, Kumail Nanjiani, Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Chloe Bennet, Sandra Bernhard, Heather Graham, Max Greenfield, Frida Gustavsson, Charlie Hall, Jarrad Paul, Rosie Perez, Ben Schnetzer and Laura Smet.

Recently, we learned of the departure of Helena Bonham Carter due to artistic disputes (a term always a little vague). She was replaced at short notice by Laura Dern, already familiar with the world of Mike White after her participation in the series Enlightened. For the moment, no broadcast date announced for The White Lotus season 4, but we can reasonably bet on late 2026 or early 2027.
