Tom Cruise gives his opinion on The Odyssey and wants to “see it again”

A great defender of the theatrical experience, the star of Mission: Impossible welcomes Christopher Nolan’s new film… and already promises to return.

The Odyssey is validated… by Tom Cruise!

A few hours after discovering the new film by Christopher Nolan, the star of Mission: Impossible shared his enthusiasm on social networks. Supporting photo, in front of a 70mm IMAX poster of the film, the actor sent a message to the director, his producer Emma Thomas and the entire team.

“Wow! Chris, Emma and all the brilliant cast and crew: thank you for an incredible evening at the movies. I can’t wait to see him again!“

This is not the first time that Tom Cruise has publicly displayed his admiration for the work of Christopher Nolan. In 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, he had already supported Tenet by encouraging spectators to discover the film… in cinemas.

A logical commitment for someone who has become one of the most fervent defenders of the cinematic experience. During the health crisis, Tom Cruise notably refused to allow Top Gun: Maverick released directly on a streaming platform, preferring to wait for cinemas to reopen. An ultimately winning bet, since the blockbuster exceeded $1.5 billion in revenue worldwide.
