Where is season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again?
The finale of season 2 will be broadcast this night, in France on Disney+. And the sequel is already being filmed. We tell you everything.
While season 2 ends, Disney has already ordered a season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again.
At the beginning of March, Dario Scardapane told us that filming would begin “in less than a week”. The production actually returned to the sets on March 17, 2026, with Aaron Moorhead, Justin Benson and Iain B. MacDonald directing. Filming is expected to continue until next July.
The showrunner promises a machine that is already well established: “We are really ready. All the scripts are written.” He also specifies: “We are on a regular broadcast schedule. One season each year, so we have to continue.”
Same observation from producer Sana Amanat, who confirms a now well-oiled process: “We have a great team and now that we are entering season 3, almost everyone knows exactly what they have to do, so it’s working.”
In short, season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again is well and truly underway, with a release planned around spring 2027 on Disney+.
On the plot side, this new salvo will rediscover the idea of street fighting, after the conclusion of Wilson Fisk’s mayor’s arc at the end of season 2. Dario Scardapane nevertheless ensures that the sequel will remain coherent, with a story which continues to advance “in the same direction”, even if the relationship between Matt Murdock and Fisk will no longer necessarily be the heart of the story. New antagonists are expected…
On the set, a few stolen photos revealed the returns of former Netflix faces: Mike Colter (Luke Cage) and Finn Jones (Danny Rand / Iron Fist), will reunite with Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) to reform the Defenders, Disney+ version.
The main cast also includes Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock / Daredevil), Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk / Kingpin), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Margarita Levieva (Heather Glenn / Muse) and Wilson Bethel (Bullseye).
