The grand finale of the summer where I became pretty was put online on Prime Video yesterday. A total conclusion, which showed the ultimate choice of Belly and even the future lives of each other. May facing the cardboard of the series, Amazon decided to extend the pleasure a little. The streamer has just formalized the start of a film in the summer when I became pretty that will close the story, in the wake of this third season.
The script will be signed by Jenny Han, author of the original novels and creative of television adaptation, alongside Sarah Kucserka. The announcement was made during the Parisian preview of the last episode. “There was a big step in Belly’s journey, and I thought that a film alone could do him justice. I am grateful to Prime Video to support my vision and allow fans to discover this last chapter,” said Han, visibly at the initiative of this surprise film.
On the casting side, Lola Tung will resume her main role, surrounded by Jackie Chung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Rachel Blanchard, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer and others.
Global phenomenon, season 3 has brought together no less than 25 million spectators around the world in a week.
