700,000 admissions in France for Pixar and Jumpers, still at the top of the box office

Good start for The Crime on the 3rd Floor, while Jérémy Ferrari and Fabrice Luchini are struggling.

Although the school holidays are over, the French box office continues to live to the rhythm of family comedies.

It is Jumpers which remains at the top of the ranking in the second week, with almost 300,000 additional admissions in 551 theaters. The Disney-Pixar animated film is down only 25% compared to its launch and now attracts around 700,000 spectators in France. A score already significantly higher than that of Eliowhich capped at 450,000 tickets sold at the same stadium in 2025 (finishing at 1.2 million). However, the original film is very far from Vice versa 2which already stood at 1.6 million entries after two weeks in 2024…

Still in great shape, Marsupilami by Philippe Lacheau continues his impressive career. In its sixth week, the family comedy still attracts more than 220,000 spectators (859 theaters). Obviously, attendance falls but is still limited to -36%. With 5.4 million cumulative admissions, the film is already the director’s biggest success and also exceeds On the Marsupilami trail by Alain Chabat (5.3 million in 2012). It’s just a bonus now for Fifi’s gang.

In the rest of the French box office, a novelty manages to climb onto the podium: The Crime on the 3rd Floor starts correctly. The police comedy by Laetitia Casta and Gilles Lellouche recorded 160,000 admissions for its first week in 372 theaters.

It’s a little better than the other new releases of the week, which are more difficult: The Golden Ks by Jérémy Ferrari is satisfied with 145,000 curious people in 456 theaters for its first week, while Fabrice Luchini in the shoes of Victor like everyone else achieved a small launch with 97,000 entries (261 copies).

Finally, we can note that, among all these French films, Scream 7 resist as best he can: in the third week, Ghostface still sold around 140,000 additional tickets (-37%). The film has accumulated 830,000 admissions to date, a score currently down compared to Scream 6which had reached 930,000 spectators in 2023 at the same time.
