After All Night Too Young, Family Film or even Winter FilesSlovak director Olmo Omerzu returns with a sixth drama. Klára, an anorexic teenager, goes to the coast of the Adriatic Sea with her father and brother on vacation. There, she meets Denis, a young man with a bad-boy appearance with whom she falls in love… She finally regains her appetite. One day, Denis disappears, he is in fact wanted by the police. Despite the danger hovering around this boy, faced with the fragile health of their daughter, deeply saddened by his disappearance, Klára’s parents will go beyond certain limits…

In the cast: Dexter Franc in the role of Klára, Barry Ward in that of the father, Barbora Bobulova in that of the mother and Timon Sturbej will play Denis.

How far are parents willing to go to save their child?” It is to this question that For Klára tries to answer: “My film was born from a simple, but disturbing question”, says the director.

The feature film depicts a theme that is dear to him, adolescence facing the discovery of freedom. This is the first time that young transsexual model Dexter Franc has played a major role. Before that, he made an appearance in Amerikánka by Slovenian filmmaker, Viktor Tauš. Noticed by Olmo Omerzu, Franc then obtained the main role in his short film While we were sleeping (2025), today he is showing his latest feature.

Synopsis: “Under the Adriatic sun, David hopes to enjoy the holidays with his two children in the hope of strengthening family ties. While Klára is experiencing her first love, a brutal event disrupts this interlude and forces the family to return earlier than expected. Already vulnerable, the young girl is deeply affected, pushing her parents to cross certain limits to protect her…

For Klára will be released on April 8 in French theaters.
