The official MCU timeline soon to be revealed in a book (trailer)
Marvel Studios will release a complete guide to the chronology of its universe since the very first films.
An official guide to the timeline of Marvel Cinematic Universe is available for pre-order and will be released on October 24, 2023. The trailer shows us the advantages of this book, which is already establishing itself as an essential tool for a good understanding of the MCU.
Kevin Feigethe president of Marvel Studios, explains: “So much has happened in our films and series, which is why it’s exciting to have The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline.” The different voice-overs in the video declare in turn that “this book will tell you everything you need to know” And “that it takes up every film, every story, every series, every reference, even those that have never been shown on screen”.
From Iron Man to Captain Marvel: the (almost) complete MCU timeline
A lot of analysis, compilation and archival research made this book possible. Nevertheless, even if it will delight fans of the first hour and those who wish to embark on this universe, does not the very existence of this work prove that the MCU has passed a milestone in the expansion of its multiple stories and characters? We now need a written guide, which will also require an update in the years to come (and therefore a second volume), to be able to follow and appreciate the creations of Marvel Studios. Beyond a marketing asset, it perhaps reveals the limit reached by the studio’s editorial line, which is trying here to prevent the risk of indigestion on the part of fans.
