Bodies: an intriguing first teaser for Netflix’s new crime series

“You’re not the first detective to find this body…”

October 19 will be released on Netflix Bodysuitsa crime series with a particularly intriguing pitch: Four London police officers investigate the same murder (an unidentified body found in Whitechapel) at four different times and discover a strange conspiracy that has been going on for 150 years.

We see in the teaser below the four police officers facing this same victim, but in different periods ranging from 1890 to 2053. They are played by Kyle Soller (Andor), Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (The Great), Amaka Okafor (The Split) and Shira Haas (Unorthodox) “You are not the first detective to discover this body”, warns the voice-over. But how can the same man have been killed several times in more than 150 years?

Stephen Graham (Snatch, The Mole, Pirates of the Caribbean…) is also in the cast of this 8-episode series designed by Paul Tomalin (Torchwodd, Shameless…) from a graphic novel by Si Spencer, illustrated by different artists. Danusia Samal (Gangs of London) co-wrote this adaptation.
