Kelly Reilly returns to Yellowstone: trailer for the Texas sequel

Dutton Ranch Makes Historic Start

The series based on Yellowstone achieves the biggest launch in the history of Paramount+.

The Yellowstone madness is far from over.

Even without Kevin Costner, the universe created by Taylor Sheridan continues to crush audiences. The proof with Dutton Ranch, the new spin-off centered on Beth and Rip, which has quite simply had the best start in the entire history of Paramount+.

According to figures revealed by the platform, the first two episodes accumulated 12.9 million views in just seven days after being posted online on May 15.

A huge score for Paramount+, which shatters the old record held by the mafia thriller MobLand and its 8.8 million views when it launched in 2025.

And that’s not all: Paramount also broadcast the two episodes on American television during a special evening. As a result, according to Nielsen data, the episodes attracted an average of 2.9 million viewers over the evening.

In other words: the Yellowstone empire remains a hit machine. Taylor Sheridan continues to achieve success at an impressive pace. Last month, it was The Madison – with Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell – which had already started with 8 million views. A few months earlier, season 2 of Landman had also exploded with 9 million views at launch.

With Dutton Ranch, Sheridan proves above all that the public remains completely addicted to Beth and Rip, who have become over the seasons the most popular characters of Yellowstone. In this sequel, the couple started a new life on a ranch in South Texas, far from Montana, but not far from the problems…
