Trailer: the Among Us series arrives by surprise on Paramount +

A global phenomenon, video games are becoming an animated science fiction series. And all ten episodes are already available for streaming!

“You are the Impostor.” This phrase has made millions of gamers paranoid during the pandemic. Now, Among Us is leaving video game screens to try its luck on television with an animated series broadcast on Paramount+. On the occasion of Summer Game Fest 2026, the platform unveiled the first trailer for this adaptation of the famous multiplayer deduction game. Better yet: the ten episodes (12 minutes) of the first season are now available on the platform (and also in France via MyCanal).

Inspired by the phenomenon game developed by Innersloth, the series follows a group of eccentric and colorful crew members aboard a spaceship tasked with transporting waste across the galaxy. Their mission will quickly turn into a nightmare when they discover that an Imposter is hiding among them.

“A group of monochrome and eccentric crew members aboard a ship transporting trash across the galaxy must ferret out an Impostor hiding among them before succumbing to his dark designs,” details the synopsis.

The trailer gives an overview of the crazy tone of this science fiction comedy, between paranoia, betrayals and absurd situations. The vocal cast (in original version) includes Yvette Nicole Brown, Kimiko Glenn, Randall Park, Dan Stevens, Elijah Wood and Patton Oswalt.

The series was created by Owen Dennis, already known for his work on the animated series Infinity Train.

Launched in 2018 in relative discretion, the Among Us license became a true global phenomenon in 2020. In the midst of a pandemic, the game rose to the top of downloads in dozens of countries and invaded Twitch, YouTube and social networks thanks to its simple principle: identify the imposter before he eliminates the entire crew.
