Surprise: Seth Rogen enters the DC Universe
The actor makes a voice cameo in the cast of the film Supergirl.
Since the filming of Supergirlrumors announced the presence of Seth Rogen in Craig Gillespie’s film. Many even imagined that the actor would lend his voice to Krypto, Superman’s famous dog.
In reality, the star of The Studio plays… an alien bus driver.
Finally, more precisely, he lends his voice to a small alien who assists the driver of an intergalactic bus taken by Kara Zor-El and Ruthye Marye Knoll during their journey across the galaxy to track down Krem.
A lightning appearance, which barely lasts a few seconds, but which officially marks the debut of Seth Rogen in the new DC Universe imagined by James Gunn and Peter Safran.
A fun cameo for the actor who is passionate about comics and pop culture and who recently voiced Donkey Kong in Super Mario Bros. The Moviebut also in that of Allen the Alien in the animated series Invincible.
It remains to be seen whether this participation is just a wink or the start of a larger collaboration with the DCU. Knowing the long-standing friendship between Seth Rogen and James Gunn, nothing prevents us from imagining that the actor could land a more substantial role in a future project.
Supergirl will be released in French cinemas next Wednesday.
