Women on the Balcony: shocking and trashy trailer for the new Noémie Merlant
Surrounded by Sanda Codreanu and Souheila Yacoub, the actress and director returns with a horrific and feminist comedy.
Presented in a Midnight Screening last May in Cannes, Women on the balcony did not leave festival-goers indifferent. After Mi iubita my love, the second feature film of Noémie Merlantwritten with Céline Sciamma (who directed her in Portrait of the girl on fire), has something to divide. And that is undoubtedly the goal of this black and feminist comedy which goes straight to the point.
Women on the balcony follows three friends (Noémie Merlant, Sanda Codreanu and Souheila Yacoubstunning as an uninhibited cam girl) in an apartment in Marseille in the middle of a heatwave. Opposite, a handsome and mysterious neighbor (Lucas Bravo fromEmily in Paris) which will turn the meeting between friends into a bloody horror drama.
See you at the cinema on December 11 to find out more. Trailer:
