First photos of Austin Butler in The Bikeriders by Jeff Nichols
Jodie Comer and Tom Hardy are also in the cast of the new film from the director of Take Shelter and Mud.
One year later his announcement official, The Bikeriders is about to be shown at the Telluride festival. On this occasion, 20th Century Studios revealed a first image of its main actor, Austin Butler, riding a motorcycle. A black and white photo that directly refers to the work of photographer Danny Lyon, who captured the daily life of a gang of Chicago bikers in the 1960s. He published all his photos in a book aptly titled The Bikeriderssource of inspiration for the film.
Jeff Nichols’ ‘THE BIKERIDERS’ is inspired by Danny Lyon’s 1968 book of the same name.
The book explores firsthand the stories and personalities of the Chicago Outlaws Motorcycle Club, and also features original black-and-white photographs, which Nichols recreated for the film. pic.twitter.com/MOGqV3DxcS

Another image shared by the studio shows the director Jeff Nichols (Take Shelter, Mud, Midnight Special…) in the company of the actorElvis and Jodie Comer (The Last Duel). Tom Hardy is also in the cast.
In the USA, The Bikeriders will be released in cinemas on December 1st. In France, this project has not yet been dated. Now that these first images have been revealed, its trailer should drop soon…
