Paul Atreides becomes the enemy in stunning Dune 3 trailer

Paul Atréides is more isolated than ever.
Warner Bros. unveils a brand new trailer for Dune: Part Threethe final part of the science fiction fresco orchestrated by Denis Villeneuve. Expected in French theaters on December 16, 2026, the film will adapt The Messiah of Dunethe novel published by Frank Herbert in 1969.
The first images announce a radical change in tone. Now emperor, Paul Atreides tries to come to terms with the consequences of the holy war waged in his name. His reign is weakened by a conspiracy brewing within his entourage, while his past decisions continue to plunge the galaxy into chaos.
Even her romance with Chani now seems on the brink, while Zendaya berates Timothée Chalamet in this video that says it all. At the same time, Jason Momoa makes a formidable opponent, and Robert Pattinson – who plays Scytale – leads the revolt for “a change of diet” with the help of Florence Pugh.
“Forgive me for everything I’ve done“, confesses Paul in this trailer as spectacular as it is tragic.
We finally see Anya Taylor-Joy finally truly appear on screen in the role of Alia Atreides.
Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin also all reprise their roles.
As with the previous chapters, Denis Villeneuve directs and produces the film, for which he co-wrote the screenplay with Brian K. Vaughan. The filmmaker will thus conclude his trilogy dedicated to Paul Atreides, by exploring the ravages of absolute power and the price of a messianic destiny.
