Pierce Brosnan Sees Red in MobLand Season 2 Trailer
Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren return to action in September on Paramount+.
The Harrigan family is back…and they’re more divided than ever.
Paramount+ has just revealed the first trailer for season 2 of MobLand, which will launch on September 18 on the platform.
The new images find Tom Hardy in the role of Harry Da Souza, the fearsome and loyal henchman of the Harrigan family. Opposite him, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren reprise the roles of Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, the ruthless patriarchs of a criminal empire now on the verge of implosion.
“In this ten-episode second season, the Harrigans will struggle to present a united front as rising rivals threaten their already fractured criminal empire – and Harry Da Souza, their fearsome “henchman” with well-developed street smarts, will have to walk a tightrope as tensions within the family escalate. As violence invades every corner of their lives, loyalties fracture, security proves fleeting, and the struggle for power leaves no room for room for pity” specifies the synopsis.
The trailer particularly highlights Pierce Brosnan who is more explosive than ever. The clan leader seems to be gradually losing his composure, while betrayals multiply and the war for power promises to claim many victims.
Alongside the main trio, the cast includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer and Toby Jones.
