Twelve years after his last feature film, the American comedian and actor returns to directing with Misty Green, a Hollywood satire carried by a five-star cast and produced by A24.

“After years of excess, talented actress Misty Green relaunches her career with a role she would be perfect fore” details the synopsis.

Rosalind Eleazar plays the main role opposite Chris Rock, and also Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya, Anna Kendrick and Topher Grace.

The trailer sets the tone with biting humor behind the scenes of Hollywood. Misty’s agent says to her in particular: “I understand, it’s tough right now. I’m not even sure I can get you a role on New York City.…

After Head of State (2003), I Think I Love My Wife (2007) and Top Five (2014), Chris Rock returns to directing with this new dramatic comedy dedicated to the film industry.
